CNC PROGRAMMER
We are seeking an experienced multi-axis CNC Programmer for our fast-paced aerospace manufacturing company. This position would be responsible for the programming and setup plan of our horizontal and vertical CNC machines. Machines include 3, 4, and 5 axis Haas, Matsuura, Makino, Mori Seiki and Yasda.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop programs using MasterCam for precision parts from customer-supplied drawings, CAD models, or parts lists.
Decide which cutting tools and speeds are appropriate, considering the design specifications, materials and range of tools that could be used.
Develop Job travelers to support and follow thru work operations.
Provide feedback to design engineers to produce manufacturable designs and drawings.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems concerning machining operations, tools, materials and CNC programs
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of on the job experience programming and machining
Ability to interpret blueprint/technical drawings and follow travelers
Experience using CNC programming software (Mastercam)
Mechanical ability and understanding of engineering principles
Understanding of part tolerances.
Ability to review, understand and edit G Code programs on the fly
Able to work in a demanding fast paced environment.
Must have good attendance and punctuality
