The Clinical Manager of Rehabilitation is responsible for developing and implementing programs and policies for the Rehabilitation department. This position will oversee and educate the field on regulatory changes specific to Rehabilitation. Responsible for overseeing Casamba software our clinical/operational management tool. This position support over 160 clinics. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Rehab/Clinical Responsibilities Develops and updates all Rehab clinical policies and procedures. Responsible for final product. Updates clinical area of R&W Share point. Develop and oversee the rehab orientation process. Development training and competencies for Rehab portion of ICD 10 Develops Rehab Clinical e-learning modules Represents R&W on e-learning development Responsible for education and training on Rehab areas in PCC Works with Rehab Operations Director in overseeing value of mentor program New Clinic Start Up Responsibilities Sets up clinic in Smart Works with RRD on startup equipment Stays current on updated equipment needs Provides on-site training for all new startup which includes: risk meeting, dept. head meeting, DOC POC, screening process, intake process, and reverse demo by staff. Regulatory Compliance Responsibilities: Gathers, analyzes, and identifies educational opportunities based on quarterly chart audit roll ups. Development training and competencies for Rehab portion of ICD 10 Oversees Medical Reviewer to identify Rehab trends and learning opportunities related to Medicare Analyzes appeal trends and provides education accordingly Works with Medical Reviewer on ALJ hearings Rehab HIPPA oversight Educational Responsibilities Monthly lunch and learns on various rehab topics Clinical program development Biodex utilization, training and marketing Measures efficacy and implementation of clinical programs and reports on it monthly Other duties as Assigned: Safety Committee EHR Committee Processes employee incident report and works with Med Tech on rehab specific cases.
