The developer will work closely with architects, product owners, business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other developers in an Agile environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.Build secure, scalable, and reusable microservices and RESTful APIs.Translate business and technical requirements into high-quality software solutions.Develop clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established engineering standards.Integrate applications with databases, internal platforms, external services, and third-party APIs.Implement appropriate authentication, authorization, input validation, exception handling, and audit logging.Write unit, integration, and automated tests to maintain application quality and reliability.Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent corrective solutions.Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, application-design sessions, and release planning.Improve application performance, scalability, observability, and operational stability.Support CI/CD pipelines and deployments across development, testing, staging, and production environments.Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the complete software-development lifecycle.Follow organizational security, privacy, change-management, and healthcare compliance requirements.Required Qualifications7–9 years of professional software-development experience.Strong hands-on experience with Java, preferably Java 11 or later.Extensive experience developing enterprise applications with Spring Boot.Strong knowledge of Spring Framework components, including Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.Proven experience designing and developing microservices and RESTful APIs.Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles.Experience working with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL.Hands-on experience with JPA, Hibernate, or similar persistence frameworks.Experience with unit and integration testing using JUnit, Mockito, or comparable tools.Working knowledge of Git and modern CI/CD processes.Experience troubleshooting distributed applications and analyzing application logs.Good understanding of secure coding practices and API security.Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience developing applications in the healthcare or health-insurance industry.Familiarity with HIPAA-regulated environments and the secure handling of protected health information.Experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 or FHIR.Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or another event-driven messaging platform.Experience deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and role-based access control.Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, AppDynamics, or New Relic.Experience with Maven or Gradle and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.Knowledge of API documentation tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.What We’re Looking ForThe ideal candidate is a hands-on Java engineer who can independently develop production-quality services while collaborating effectively with a broader delivery team.
