Newport Beach, CA $35/hr | Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire Join a well-established specialty medical practice in Newport Beach seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Office Coordinator / Medical Assistant Lead to support daily operations and keep the front and back office running smoothly. This is a key role with visibility to leadership and opportunity for long-term growth. What You’ll Be Doing: Coordinate daily office operations in a fast-paced clinical setting Support pre-operative and procedure-related processes Handle medical records and ensure accurate documentation Oversee the basic office duties: collect patient payments, manage patient scheduling, phone communications, and front desk workflow Oversee administrative compliance tasks (licenses, documentation, etc.) Provide supervision and support to a team of 4 What They’re Looking For: 2+ years of experience in a medical office environment Must have Medical Assistant experience in both front and back office functions, including prescription processing. Experience in a specialty practice setting (GI - gastroenterology experience highly preferred) Familiarity with medical records, procedures, and patient coordination Strong communication skills with both patients and staff Proven job stability and consistent work history Professional, team-oriented mindset with attention to detail Nice to Have: Medical-related education or certification Schedule & Environment: Mon-Thurs.-  8:30am - 5:00pm, Fri. 8:30am - 12:00pm  No weekends Professional clinical setting - Black Scrubs This role is open due to a long-tenured employee retiring, so the role isideal for someone looking to step into a stable, well-run practice and make an immediate impact. xywuqvp PandoLogic.
