Job SummaryTitle: Director, Digital Marketing and Strategy (Distribution)Reports to: President, Distribution and VP, Digital Marketing & StrategyLocation: New York, NY (In-Person, 5 days a week)The RoleRoc Nation is seeking a Director of Digital Marketing and Strategy. This position reports to both the President of Distribution & VP of Digital Marketing and serves as a key member of the Roc Nation digital team servicing Distribution clients. The role will support continued development and growth for a diverse roster of Roc Nation artists.Responsibilities will include managing a team of digital marketers, executing promotional campaigns, designing and implementing creative marketing plans, securing digital retail merchandising/playlisting, facilitating requests between partners, managers and artists and maintaining artist web & social platforms. This Director will be responsible for shaping both digital strategy and the execution of plans, including social media publishing, on a daily basis.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of digital marketing specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, data-driven decision-making, and professional development.Content Marketing: Develop and execute digital marketing/sales and content distribution strategies for client; prepare pitches to key digital retail, mobile, and online promotional partners to secure retail campaigns and marketing opportunities for releasesPartner Management: Support and manage relationships with key digital partner accounts; liaise with label distribution partners to execute digital sales plans and marketing initiativesContent Development: Produce and post digital content, including text, images, videos; liaise with artist and their team to develop artist generated contentSite and Social Development / Management: Support and manage new artist site builds and launches; maintain and update artist sites, social media profiles & Roc Nation propertiesCreative Marketing and Revenue Development: Grow artist awareness, site traffic and content syndication through third party editorials, feature placements, social networking strategies, influencer marketing, marketing programs, D2C initiatives, contests/sweepstakes and exclusive content promotions to drive revenueReporting and Analysis: Compile and distribute regular reports to internal team; utilize data to evaluate campaign efficacy; evaluate internal and competitive digital campaign performances to determine each promotion’s success and areas of opportunity/growth; create reports for artists and external partnersOther Priority Marketing: Develop and execute content release campaigns, tour promotions, and other marketing efforts as needed around artist’s launchesQualifications7-8+ years experience managing the use of and/or relationships with digital distribution and social platformsExtensive knowledge of and passion for the music marketExperience managing high performing teams in a fast past environmentAn in-depth understanding of social media platforms, industry trends, new technologies and digital music servicesExcellent copywriting skills; ability to write under pressure for multiple campaigns simultaneouslyThe highest attention to detailTrack record building and maintaining strong business relationshipsStrong oral/written communication skillsThe drive to take initiative, work independently and be accountable while also working as a team player who is collaborative, positive and flexibleBachelor's degree in a related field preferredExperience running reports and exporting data from Google Analytics, email service providers, CRM and other audio/video/social platformsExperience working with social management and listening platformsExperience working with content management systems; especially WordpressKnowledge using basic audio, photo and video editing programsApplicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa.Benefits & PerksHEALTH: Medical, vision, dental and mental health benefits for you and your family with access to a health care concierge and Flexible or Health Savings Accounts (FSA or HSA)YOURSELF: Free concert tickets, paid time off including paid holidays, sick time and floating daysCAREER: Career and skill development programs with School of LiveWEALTH: 401(k) program with company matchNote – Roc Nation benefits and policies differ from Live NationThe Expected Compensation For This Position Is$128,000.00 USD - $160,000.00 USD Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.Live Nation Entertainment will never request payment or equipment purchases as part of the hiring process.
