We put the unity in \"opportunity.\"Opportunity Snapshot:Compensation: $35/hourLocation: Baytown, TXDuration: 12 months+Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+Benefits: Comprehensive insurance, 401(k) program, PTO & HolidaysQualifications:Requires 1-3yrs experience in maintenance/operations, strong computer skills and experience with CMMS softwareThe ability to read at a level to understand written safety procedures, work procedures, blueprints, P&IDs, work permits, and technical instruction manuals is requiredA valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are requiredStrong mechanical aptitude and dexterity in the use of tools and equipment is requiredBasic computer skills such as opening, creating, and updating content in MS Word documents and Excel spreadsheets is requiredThe ability to assume responsibility, prioritize and respond to multiple tasks under potentially stressful and/or hazardous conditionsThe ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with other individuals, teams, customers, and stakeholders of the business, at various levels of the organization, in a business like and professional manner is requiredWorks indoors and outdoors in and around industrial and electrical equipmentWorks in temperature extremes due to weather conditions and operating equipmentClimbs and works at various heights and may work in a standing, sitting, lying down, crouched, or kneeling positionRoutinely reacts to visual, aural, and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and is required to visually inspect workMust be able to regularly bend, stoop, move from ground level to higher levels, raise/lift from ground level and lift up to 50 lbs., manually transport a load up to 75 lbs., apply up to 100-foot lbs. of torqueMust have ability to get in and out of vehicles regularly and ride over rough roadsMust wear special safety equipment while workingThe ability to work overtime is requiredMust live or relocate to within 1 hour of reporting locationHigh School diploma or GED requiredResponsibilities:Entry level position in maintenance planning departmentPrimary duties include reviews of P&ID drawings and asset data from capital projects and entering data into maintenance CMMS softwareOther duties include assisting in the development of detail job plans by performing field walk downs based on scope of work to identify craft resources, equipment and material required to execute the work. Break scope items down into steps which can be progressed during executionAssist in the procurement of required material/outside services. Enter all steps into a database. Notify the EPC planner when scope is complete and ready to be scheduled. Assist in monitoring progress of field activities.Define, create and maintain the production schedules based upon demand planning, actual customer demand, internal capacity constraints, and factors affecting schedule complianceMonitor materials inventories, track manufacturing progress and review dynamics of production schedule utilizationMonitor and maintain planning systemTrack and monitor schedule compliance and capacity utilizationExecute ERP processes and report functions, providing timely data and information used to drive the business and schedule decision making processPlan and establish the production schedule and tracks manufacturing progress The Bergaila Way:The Bergaila Companies is a nationally recognized leader in providing staffing services to all sectors of the energy industry.
