Software development activities include implementation, testing, and integration with other COTS and FOSS products, packages, and libraries. The Software Engineer must have a demonstrated understanding of the software development life cycle.RequirementsSecurity Clearance:Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizenMinimum Qualifications:Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexityNine (9) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.Required Skills:Experience using the Linux CLIExperience developing scripts using Bash/PythonRecent software development experience using JavaExperience developing with the Spring Framework including Spring Boot, Spring Data and Spring IntegrationExperience with NoSQL databases including MongoDBExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containersExperience with container orchestration technologies including KubernetesExperience creating Helm Charts to deploy containerized services in a Kubernetes environmentFamiliar with Messaging Frameworks such as RabbitMQ and KafkaFamiliar with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as Bamboo and GitLab CIFamiliar with IaC principles, methodologies, and tools including AnsibleExperience using Git Source Control SystemDesired Skills:Familiar with Log Aggregation and Management systems such as LokiExperience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and ConfluenceThis position is open for direct hires only.
