Bartender

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in customer service and food handling, with experience in fine dining and nightlife settings. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing exceptional service to guests, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and well-stocked. Engage with customers, providing excellent service while managing their orders efficiently. Utilize Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for processing transactions and managing orders. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events or busy periods. Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal regulations regarding serving alcohol. Assist in setting up for special events such as banquets or catering functions as needed. Demonstrate strong time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours. Experience Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred. Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately. Experience using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus. Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation is beneficial.
