Global Supply Chain Manager – Tooling / MROUnited States (Hybrid)About the RoleWe're looking for a Global Supply Chain Manager (Tooling/MRO) to lead sourcing strategy and supplier performance across our semiconductor manufacturing operations. This role will focus on precision metal tooling, MRO, capital equipment, and facilities support, driving cost, quality, and supply continuity across global sites.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys strategic sourcing, supplier partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.What You'll DoCommodity Strategy & Global SourcingDevelop and execute sourcing strategies for:MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations)Capital equipment (CapEx)Precision machining toolingFacilities support servicesLead RFQs, supplier selection, and contract negotiationsOptimize cost, lead time, quality, and total cost of ownershipDrive supplier consolidation and risk mitigationLead cost reduction initiatives (should-cost analysis, value engineering)Implement VMI, Kanban, and demand-driven replenishment programsSupplier ManagementBuild and manage strategic global supplier relationshipsDrive performance through:KPIs and scorecardsQuarterly business reviewsSupplier audits and improvement plansEnsure suppliers meet quality, delivery, and capacity requirementsTooling, MRO & CapEx SupportPartner with engineering, manufacturing, and facilities teamsSource and manage:Industrial tooling and machining suppliesMRO and spare partsCleanroom consumablesFacility maintenance servicesSupport capital projects by sourcing equipment and automation systems aligned with timelines and budgetsWhat Success Looks LikeCost savings and cost avoidanceImproved supplier quality and on-time deliveryReduced lead times and improved supply continuityOptimized supplier base and reduced riskStrong CapEx cost and schedule performanceImproved inventory and working capital efficiencyWhat You BringBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)7–10+ years of experience in:Strategic sourcing or commodity managementSupply chain within semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or capital equipmentExperience sourcing:Precision machining toolingMRO suppliesManufacturing equipmentStrong skills in:Supplier negotiations and contract managementCost analysis and total cost modelingExperience with ERP/PLM systems (Oracle and Agile preferred)Ability to influence cross-functional teamsWillingness to travel 10–25%CompensationMinnesota pay range: $91,900 – $156,200Final compensation is based on experience, skills, and location.BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision coveragePaid time off and company holidaysPrograms supporting work-life balance and well-beingOpportunities for professional growth and developmentAbout Ichor SystemsIchor is a leading provider of critical fluid delivery subsystems and precision machining solutions for the semiconductor industry.
