We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to support our manufacturing operations by producing quality parts and components with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail. This role is critical to maintaining production flow, equipment performance, and overall operational excellence.Position SummaryThe CNC Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machinery to produce parts and components according to production specifications and quality standards. This position works closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure efficient machine operation, minimize downtime, and maintain accurate production records.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC machines according to production specifications and work instructionsLoad raw materials and monitor machine performance throughout production runsPerform machine adjustments and tooling changes as needed to maintain quality and efficiencyInspect finished parts using measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standardsRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, job travelers, and production schedulesTroubleshoot machine or operational issues and communicate concerns promptly to leadership or maintenancePerform routine preventative maintenance and basic machine upkeepAccurately complete production records and documentationFollow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policiesCollaborate with supervisors, maintenance, and production team members to support operational goalsMaintain a clean, organized, and tour-ready work environmentQualificationsPrevious CNC machine operation experience, 5+ years’ experience is preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specificationsExperience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges preferredExperience in Tool & DieHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipBasic math and measurement skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredTechnical training or certification in CNC machining, manufacturing, or related field preferredPhysical RequirementsFrequent standing and walking throughout the shiftRegular use of hands for handling materials, operating machinery, and adjusting equipmentAbility to lift up to 50 lbsStrong visual acuity, including close vision and depth perceptionAbility to communicate effectively in a production environmentReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Additional InformationOvertime or adjusted hours may be required based on production schedules and customer demandWhy Join QPI?Stable, growing manufacturing environmentTeam-oriented culture with strong leadership supportOpportunity to develop technical skills and grow your careerCommitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence
