This position requires a professional, organized self-starter with the ability to interact with attorneys, staff and clients at all levels in a fast-paced, challenging legal environment. A proactive work ethic, ability to anticipate needs, strong decision-making skills, attention to detail, and flexible schedule are a must.Research case law, regulations, and statutes to support case preparation and legal adviceDraft, review, and edit legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, subpoenas, and briefsGather information from clients, provide case updates, and address concernsCoordinate and file all discovery documents involving attorneys and clientsCollaborate with senior attorneys to prepare cases for trial, including organizing evidence and exhibitsRepresent clients in court proceedings under the supervision of senior attorneysAssist in the development of legal strategies and solutionsParticipate in business development and community functions to maintain and build client relationshipsFLSA Exemption Status ExemptRequirements:Education, Qualifications, and CertificationsJuris Doctor degree from an accredited law schoolLicense to practice law in the state of FloridaExperienceThree or more years of experience in Personal Injury and/or Medical Malpractice cases preferred.FileVine experience preferred.
