Personal Care Aide (PCA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

JOB DESRIPTION: We are looking to hire an experienced Personal Care Aide to assist and support a client in need. The client needs support completing the 5 activities of daily living, which include bathing, eating, dressing, mobility, and toileting. Client needs help Monday- Saturday during the morning shift. Responsibilities Medication reminders (only) Support clients who can’t move on their own Help clients dress, bathe, eat, assist with toileting Cook meals according to the clients preference Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment Provide emotional support Inform supervisor about uncommon events (i.e falls, emergency situations) Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Skills Proven experience as personal care aide (at least 1 year experience) Aide must be committed to health & safety Aide must be able to do housework and cooking Well-organized and reliable Aide must possess excellent communication and people skills Aide must have positive and compassionate attitude QUALIFICATIONS Must have a clear background (no drug charges, or felonies) Must have dependable transportation Job Type: Part-time Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour Experience: Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred) Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Work Location: In person
