Job DescriptionSenior Structural Steel Project ManagerA respected steel erector is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Steel Project Manager to lead complex commercial and industrial steel projects from award through completion. This role is ideal for a strategic, detail-driven leader who understands steel construction, communicates effectively with clients and field teams, and consistently delivers projects safely, on time, and on budget.As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee multiple projects and project teams while managing planning, scheduling, costs, subcontractors, and field coordination. You will work closely with clients, engineers, fabrication partners, and executive leadership to ensure successful project delivery. If you excel at leading teams, managing priorities, solving challenges, and driving strong project outcomes, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organization.Key ResponsibilitiesManage structural steel projects from contract to close-outOversee multiple project teams and mentor Project Managers/Assistant PMsMaintain schedules, budgets, and cost reportsCoordinate with field leaders, engineers, and fabrication shopsLead project meetings and maintain high-level client communicationReview drawings, submittals, RFIs & change ordersMonitor project progress, site logistics, safety, and qualityWork with vendors & subcontractors and review pricingAssist with contract negotiation, risk management, and project strategySupport project close-out, documentation, and financial reportingQualifications7+ years managing structural steel projectsProven experience leading large or complex steel erection projectsStrong understanding of steel erection & fabrication processesAbility to read drawings, specifications, and contractsStrong background in scheduling, cost control & change managementExcellent communication, organization & leadership skillsProficient with construction and project management softwarePreferredExperience with large commercial or industrial steel projectsFamiliarity with AISC standardsBackground working for a structural steel erector or fabricatorExperience mentoring junior project managers or coordinatorsCompensation & Benefits$110,000 - $120,000 DOE + lucrative bonus potentialMedical, Dental, VisionPTO & Paid Holidays401(k)Long-term growth opportunitiesIf you're a motivated senior leader passionate about steel construction and delivering complex projects successfully, we want to hear from you.Send your resume to: justin.knitt@gogpac.com
