This senior leader will be a key member of the executive team, operating at the intersection of external engagement and internal execution. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner to the President/CEO, leading in the establishment of external partnerships, and ensuring that stakeholder commitments are translated into disciplined action within the organization. The role demands a skilled relationship builder, adept at navigating a diverse external landscape, including major donors, government officials, and civic partners. The VP will also be responsible for leading the organization's brand strategy, government relations, and overseeing the marketing, events, and digital presence to ensure a cohesive and compelling external narrative.Candidates for this role should be external leaders and CEO integrators, with a proven track record in communications strategy and organizational leadership. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, low-ego, and mission-driven, with the ability to bring order and discipline to a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for an advanced degree, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in project management, operations, or strategic planning, preferably within the nonprofit, philanthropic, or public service sectors. The role requires excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management platforms.
