Calibration is performed to NIST traceable standards, A2LA accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 and ANSI/NCSL, and known for our quality and speed, with a 5-business-day turnaround.Position Overview:We are looking for an experienced technician specializing in Physical Dimensional Calibration. You'll ensure the accuracy and reliability of clients' measurement instruments, requiring precision, organization, and communication.Responsibilities:Calibrate instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, thread rings, rulers, radius gauges etc.)Calibrate standards and generate reportsInspect equipment and collaborate with engineersProvide technical guidance during auditsMaintain safety and troubleshoot equipmentRequirements and Skills:Must have proven Calibration experienceMilitary PMEL/TMDE/DOD training and familiarity with ISO 17025 standards preferred.Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.Organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to meet deadlines effectively.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for potential onsite customer visitsValid driver's license, clean record, and U.S. citizen or permanent resident required.We are an Equal Opportunity EmployerMQC is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.Company DescriptionMicro Quality Calibration (MQC), established in 1978, is a leading A2LA ISO/IEC 17025-2017 Accredited Metrology lab specializing in calibration, repair, testing, and sales of precision measurement instruments.
