Our fast paced and casual work environment is highly focused on “Working to Wow” our customers, community, and employees.The Material Handler plays a key role in supporting production and warehouse operations by accurately receiving, storing, and delivering materials where and when they are needed. This position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Material Handler ensures inventory is organized, accessible, and flowing efficiently throughout the facility.Primary DutiesPut away finished goods inventory in our Michigan Road warehouseSafely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handing equipmentAccurately scan inventory transactions for put away in an efficient and accurate mannerStage, move, and distribute materials to production areas as scheduledReplenish stock and maintain product flow to prevent downtimeMaintain clean and orderly aisles, racks and staging areadAssist with warehouse and production layout improvements and space optimizationPartner with production, shipping, and quality teams to ensure seamless workflowQualificationsStrong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and accuratelyAbility to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing needsComportable working independently and as part of a teamAbility to lift up to 70 lbsReliable attendance and strong work ethicEducation / ExperienceSkills and abilities consistent with a high school degree or GED.Warehouse experience required.Inventory control experience is preferred.#SuperATVDorman Products is an equal opportunity employer; we value a combination of ideas, perspectives, and cultures at our company.
