Electronics Controls Technician
TRC Talent Solutions: Our client located in Villa Rica, GA is seeking an Electronics Controls Technician!Summary: The Electronics Controls Technician will have hands on experience working with PLC's, control systems, drives, and troubleshooting electrical/mechanical equipment all whole maintaining safety standards, supporting maintenance operations, and documenting repairs in a manufacturing environment.Job Details:Pay: $30-$40Direct HireSchedule: 12-hour night shift. 3/2 rotating schedule. 7pm-7am (after training). * Must be okay training on a 7am-7pm shift to start.Job Requirements:Conduct Lock-Out/Tag-Out proceduresInstall, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and electronic equipment, including motor relays, circuit breakers, machine and process controls, circuits, and electrical distribution systemsModify machinery logic systems (PLC's) and PC based systems and requires working knowledge of DC/AC drives in function and as they relate to an overall web-handling process, Allen Bradley, Parker and Seimens PLCsAbility to read and understand schematic diagramsAcquire/requisition spare parts related to power distribution and all electrical and electronic systemsMake electrical modifications and upgrades to current equipment and installation of new equipment with the ability to run conduit and size wiring systemsReview specifications and acquires power distribution materials needed for new equipment installationsWork outside the electronic/electrical area is expected when capable or when assisting another associateEffective communication with corporate engineering, vendors, internal customers and working on teamsProficient in computerized maintenance softwareCommunicate actions taken to repair the machine to Operator and/or LeadDocument parts used and repairs completed in management systemDemonstrate knowledge of plant and process safety rules, safe operating methods, and good housekeeping standardsWilling to function as a fire crew memberWilling to function as a first responder for medical/first aidMaintain fire and security systemsQualifications:1-2 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance, Robotics Technology, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology or equivalent hands-on technical experienceStrong mechanical aptitudeAbility to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematicsExperience using multimeters, torque tools, basic diagnostic toolsComfortable working around industrial equipmentStrong troubleshooting mindsetHigh attention to detailTechnical Skills & CompetenciesKnowledge and/or experience with control system hardware and software designKnowledge of electrical codes (NEC)Understanding of electrical/electronic systems/troubleshootingTroubleshoot servo motors and AC/DC drivesBasic knowledge and understanding in process control systems such as temperature control, pressure control, flow control, and PID control loopsAbility to read mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawingsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)TRC Talent Solutions is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
