Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and
experienced Permanent Commercial Superintendent to join our team in
the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a broad
knowledge base encompassing the various sectors we serve, including
healthcare/Medical, aviation, hospitality, and K-12 education. Our
projects range from healthcare facilities and medical offices to
detention centers and high-rise buildings, and we require a
professional who can handle the diverse challenges and
opportunities these projects present.
Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Superintendent,
you will be at the helm of our field operations, ensuring that each
project is executed to the highest standards of quality, safety,
and efficiency. Your duties will include:1.
Overseeing all on-site construction activities, from initial
groundwork to final inspection, ensuring that projects are
completed on time and within budget.
2. Coordinating and
supervising the work of subcontractors, suppliers, and other
project team members.
3. Implementing and enforcing
safety protocols in accordance with OHSA 10-HR guidelines, ensuring
a safe and secure working environment for all team members. 4. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and
ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and
safety regulations.
5. Collaborating with project
managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve
any issues or challenges that may arise during the construction
process.
6. Preparing and maintaining detailed project
documentation, including progress reports, site logs, and safety
records.
7. Guiding the self-perform work teams and
ensuring the quality of their work.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role
will have: Built in Wyoming or currently live there.
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a
Commercial Superintendent in the construction industry, with a
proven track record of successfully completed projects. 2. Extensive experience in a variety of sectors, including
healthcare, aviation, hospitality, and K-12 education. Experience
in detention center construction will be an added advantage. 3. Strong knowledge of concrete work and other construction
methods and materials.
4. Proficiency in managing field
operations and self-perform work teams.
5. A solid
understanding of OHSA 10-HR safety guidelines and a commitment to
promoting a culture of safety on the job site.
6.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly
and make sound decisions under pressure.
7. Strong
leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate
and inspire team members to perform at their best.
8.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability
to build strong relationships with team members, clients, and other
stakeholders.
9. A bachelor's degree in construction
management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
