VCA Code is hiring ICC Building Inspectors at all levels of experience. Whether you’re seeking Full-Time or Part-Time opportunities, we’d love to connect and help you find the right fit with cities and counties throughout Orange County.
What You’ll Do
Depending on your background and certifications, you may:
Perform on-site inspections of residential, commercial, and non-residential buildings
Apply your knowledge of the California Building Standards Code
Inspect mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems
Verify compliance for new builds, remodels, tenant improvements, and expansions
Review plans and construction documents for code compliance
Prepare reports, correction notices, and maintain accurate records
What We’re Looking For
If you have 2+ years of inspection experience and hold one or more ICC certifications, we’d love to hear from you:
Residential or Commercial Building Inspector
Combination Building Inspector
Mechanical, Plumbing, or Electrical Inspector
Structural Masonry Special Inspector
Building Plans Examiner

What You’ll Bring

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour

Experience:
Residential and Commercial Building Inspection: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
ICC Building Inspector Certification (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
