Job Title: Operations Manager SeniorLocation: Saltillo, Mississippi, United StatesJob Type: Full-timeJob Summary:We are seeking a Operations Manager Senior to lead and oversee manufacturing and production operations across multiple shifts in a high-volume industrial environment. This role is responsible for driving production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, ensuring workplace safety, and achieving cost and delivery targets. The ideal candidate will manage and mentor operations managers, supervisors, and production teams while coordinating with cross-functional departments such as maintenance, engineering, HR, and quality. You will play a key leadership role in optimizing workflows, improving processes, and ensuring smooth plant operations. This position requires strong leadership, manufacturing expertise, and the ability to manage large-scale operations effectively.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage operations managers and supervisors across multiple shiftsEnsure production schedules are met with high quality and efficiencyMaintain compliance with SOPs, safety standards, audits, and housekeeping practicesCoordinate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and uptimeWork with industrial engineering to improve production standards and processesCollaborate with supply chain and inventory teams for smooth material flowDrive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma principlesIdentify and eliminate waste to improve productivity and reduce costsPartner with quality teams to maintain product standards and conduct auditsOversee safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental standardsLead workforce planning, training, performance reviews, and development programsManage budgets and ensure cost-effective operationsFacilitate communication between departments and senior leadershipRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience10+ years of experience in manufacturing or operationsStrong leadership and team management experienceKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement systemsExperience in capacity planning and production flow managementAbility to obtain or hold powered industrial vehicle licensePreferred Qualifications:Experience in large-scale manufacturing environmentsStrong knowledge of ERP/MRP systemsLean Six Sigma certificationExperience in budget management and cost controlStrong communication and decision-making skillsWork Conditions / Additional Information:On-site role in a manufacturing and distribution environmentExposure to high noise levels, temperature variation, and industrial equipmentRequires extended standing/walking and use of PPE (safety gear)Fast-paced, multi-shift operational environmentBenefits include healthcare, retirement plans, PTO, and employee perksApply Now!
