Epic Patient Access Senior Trainer

NOW HIRING: Epic Patient Access TrainerMust be local to Nashville, TNFull-Time Salaried OpportunityOn-site travel to various Nashville-area locations requiredWe are seeking an experienced Epic Patient Access Trainer to support front-end revenue cycle operations across multiple clinics in the Nashville market. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education, workflow optimization, and improving patient access processes within Epic.Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging training programs for front-end staff Train teams on workqueue management including eligibility, authorizations, scheduling, referrals, and patient workflows Facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and at-the-elbow training sessions Create and maintain training materials, workflow guides, and job aids Promote standardized workflows and identify operational improvement opportunities Educate staff on how front-end actions impact claims accuracy, reimbursement, denials, and rework Partner with clinic leadership, revenue cycle teams, and Epic analysts to support onboarding and ongoing educationRequired Qualifications 3–5+ years of experience in Epic Patient Access / Front-End Revenue Cycle OR Epic Cadence / Prelude super user, trainer, or lead role Hands-on experience with Epic Cadence and/or Prelude Proven ability to train, coach, and mentor staff Strong communication and presentation skillsPreferred Qualifications Epic Certification or Credentialing in Cadence or Prelude Experience with workqueues and denial prevention strategies Knowledge of payer rules, medical necessity, and authorization requirementsIf you or someone in your network may be interested, please message me directly for more details.This role is not open to vendors*** Healthcare IT Leaders is a national leader in IT workforce solutions, connecting healthcare provider, payer and life sciences organizations with experienced technology talent for consulting and full-time hiring.
