The PM will oversee planning, execution, and performance monitoring, while maintaining responsibility for task order success through qualified staffing, adherence to Performance Work Statement requirements, and effective management of cost, schedule, performance, and resources across multiple efforts.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary interface with Government program authorities for all program, project, and contract administration mattersLead execution of task orders by applying DoD acquisition and program management principles (DoD 5000 series)Provide technical and programmatic direction across aircraft systems and subsystems, including hardware/software, integration, and supportabilityPlan, coordinate, and oversee project execution to ensure alignment with cost, schedule, and performance objectivesDevelop and implement program management processes, procedures, and controlsMonitor project progress and provide regular status reporting, risk identification, and mitigation strategiesManage and allocate resources across multiple concurrent efforts to meet program prioritiesLead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including systems engineering, logistics, and financial management personnelEnsure staffing of qualified personnel to meet Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirementsSupport technical reviews, milestone events, and interim/final program deliverablesOversee configuration control, test and evaluation activities, and systems integration effortsInterface with stakeholders to resolve issues, support decision-making, and maintain program alignmentRequired Qualifications 10 years of experience in program/project management for DoD systems or related efforts to includeManaging cost, schedule, and performance for large or complex task orders or programsApplying DoD acquisition processes and policies (DoD 5000 series) in support of program executionProviding technical and programmatic oversight of systems integration, configuration control, test and evaluation, and supportabilityBachelor’s degreeAssociate degree plus an additional 4 years of program management, acquisition, or operational experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus an additional 6 years of program management, acquisition, or operational experience may be substituted for degreePreferred QualificationsProject Management Professional (PMP) certification or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification in Program Management or related fieldExperience supporting Naval Aviation or DoD aircraft systems and subsystemsFamiliarity with Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements and lifecycle logistics planningExperience with configuration management tools and processes for complex systemsWorking knowledge of systems engineering principles and integration processesExperience supporting Technical Directives (TDs), test and evaluation, or airworthiness-related activitiesProficiency with program management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, ProjectLibre, or similar scheduling tools)Strong background in risk management, issue tracking, and performance reporting within DoD programsExperience working in a contractor support environment interfacing with Government customersAt ASI, we understand that everyone’s journey is different.
