A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRN - PICU/n/nJob Details:/n• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (1900-0700)/n• 13-week contract assignment/n• No call requirements/n• Required to work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule/n• Required certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS/n• Previous PICU experience required with ventilators and drips/n• NICU experience preferred/n• 1-2 years PICU experience preferred/n• Patient ratios: 2 ICU patients to 1 RN, 1 ICU/2 IMC to 1 RN, or 1 ICU and 2 MS to 1 RN/n• Work with Alaris IV pumps and ventilators/n• EMR system: Meditech/n• Care for patients with respiratory illnesses, HFNC, seizure monitoring, and variety of PICU diagnoses/n• Dress code: Navy scrubs required, no artificial nails permitted/n• Must be a team player with positive attitude and openness to feedback/n/nFacility:/nThis healthcare facility features a 6-bed Pediatric ICU located within a dedicated Children's Hospital. The unit maintains an outstanding safety record, being CLABSI/CAUTI free since 2014. The facility operates with a smaller unit structure that promotes excellent teamwork and camaraderie among all staff including RNs, respiratory therapists, ancillary support, and physicians.
