And moreVolunteer Coordinator Responsibilities Include:
Plans and supervise delivery of all volunteer services.
Assigns volunteers to service on the basis of program needs and the volunteer interests and skill.
Assesses and monitors program needs and develop appropriate volunteer activity and positions.
Maintains and monitors a record keeping system which includes services delivered and actual time involved.
Recruits, interviews, and selects volunteers.
Designs and supervises the orientation and training of volunteers regarding hospice philosophy, policy and practice.
Oversees performance of program supportive staff.
Monitors and evaluates volunteers’ performance.
Plans and conduct volunteer support meetings.
Prepares service reports as required.
Participates in IDG meetings.
Develops with volunteers a plan of care for patient.
Other assignments as may be appropriate.Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience in related field and in volunteer activity.
Demonstrated skill inn administrative functions that include ability to develop policies and procedures.
Two or more years of supervisory experience
