Non-Invasive Cardiologist (MD/DO) Location: Ashburn, VA, United States Job Identification: 674198 Posting Date: 10/09/2025, 12:47 AM Job Schedule: Full time Locations: Inova Fairfax Hospital Job Description The Inova Schar Heart and Vascular is seeking a board‑certified/eligible Non‑Invasive Cardiologist to join our Loudoun and Fairfax team. This clinically full‑time role will be based at our outpatient office in Ashburn, VA with inpatient rounding at Inova Loudoun Hospital and patient encounters at Inova Fairfax Hospital and the ICPH location (seeing patients, as DOD/ROD, preceptor). The physician will further develop a growing clinical practice that drives volume for Inova’s cardiac diagnostic and imaging center and will take call at those locations. The physician is responsible for providing quality medical care to Inova Health System patients and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive medical exams, making diagnoses, developing treatment plans, and providing education and guidance to patients on disease prevention and management. Opportunities to cover inpatient, CCU and echo services at Fairfax Hospital. Outpatient Imaging responsibilities: 2–3 reading days a month, 15–20 echos and 5 nuclear studies per day. Minimum Qualifications Education: Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution. Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Cardiovascular Medicine. Experience: Successful completion of a Cardiovascular Medicine residency program. Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia. Payer Credentialing: Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third‑party payors and enroll in CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor programs. Medical Staff Credentialing: Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services.
