Job DescriptionBranch ManagerLocation: Indianapolis, INType: Full-TimePosition OverviewThe Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of branch operations, including sales, logistics, inventory, and team leadership. This role partners closely with Sales and Operations leadership to drive branch performance, improve processes, and deliver a high level of customer service while supporting overall business goals.Key ResponsibilitiesLead daily branch operations, including sales, warehouse, inventory, and customer serviceMaintain strong customer service standards and address performance gapsPartner with Sales leadership on go-to-market strategies, vendor relations, and customer growthProspect and develop new customer relationshipsManage inventory health, including surplus, slow-moving, and discontinued stockDrive branch sales performance, gross profit goals, and key performance metricsRecruit, train, mentor, and develop branch staff; support succession planningEnsure accurate inventory control, merchandising, and showroom presentationMaintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational proceduresCommunicate regularly with corporate leadership and cross-functional teamsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent5-7 years of relevant sales experience1-3 years of management experience preferredExperience in low-voltage industries (fire & life safety, access control, surveillance, voice/data)Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systemsAbility to travel occasionally and work some nights/weekends (under 10%)Work Environment & Physical RequirementsThis role operates in a branch and warehouse environment with regular interaction with inventory, customers, and staff. Requires standing, walking, lifting up to 70 lbs occasionally, and use of standard office and warehouse equipment.
