Configuration Management Engineer (CME) & Transformation Lead

Basic Qualifications BS Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline Experience working in Agile teams and software development environment using Jira, Git, Jenkins, Maven, GitLab, DevSecOps, Software Factory, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows, primarily with command line interface Ability to interface with customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues, including tool issues Experience with coordination of cost estimates to provide a comprehensive Basis of Estimate (BOE) solution for the organization Earned Value Management (EVM) experience and/or Cost Account Management (CAM) experience Ability to obtain & maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the Secret level - U.S. Citizenship requiredJob DescriptionWhat We're DoingAs a part of the Lockheed Martin community, we take on challenges and find solutions using creativity and collaboration. Responsibilities include:Oversee the process of managing the entire lifecycle of software products from its inception through engineering, design, and manufacture, as well as the service and disposal of manufactured products.Oversee Configuration Management (CM) and release engineering tasks to ensure product traceability and reproducibility. These tasks include software identification, configuration control, builds, delivery, and installation of product software baselines.Oversee the development and review of associated status accounting and delivery documentation.Identification and implementation of changes to legacy tools and processes in alignment with the business' Digital Transformation (Dx) initiatives.Driving the modernization of CM practices in alignment with 1LMX initiatives.Lockheed Martin is a global aerospace, defense, and security company dedicated to advancing scientific discovery and harnessing innovation to make the world a safer place.
