Job Opportunity: Urgent Care PhysicianWe are a community-focused, not-for-profit hospital that operates without local funding. With a capacity of 581 licensed beds, our acute care facility caters to a 25-county area across Georgia and South Carolina, consistently maintaining a leading market share among local hospitals. In response to the growing community needs, we are excited to welcome an additional Urgent Care physician to our team.Practice InformationWorking Hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday & Sunday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a total of 14 shifts per month.The selected candidate will be scheduled for shift work, which includes extended hours during weekdays, as well as weekend and holiday shifts. These weekend and holiday responsibilities will be shared equally among all physician providers.Applicants must be residency-trained and board-certified in either Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.The physician will be responsible for assessing and treating a diverse array of illnesses and injuries.Documentation of all patient interactions must be completed in our EMR system, covering in-clinic evaluations, treatments, and any communications related to patient care between the provider and the patient or other healthcare staff.Experience in supervising or working alongside Advanced Practice Providers is preferred.Familiarity with EPIC EMR is advantageous.Compensation and BenefitsCompensation will align with MGMA guidelines.
