Commercial Landscape Estimator

Key Responsibilities Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documentsPerform quantity takeoffs for landscape, hardscape, grading, and site workBuild detailed cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment & subcontractors (usually only irrigation)Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier pricingPrepare competitive bid proposals and scopes of workMaintain organized bid tracking and documentationCoordinate with project managers to ensure smooth handoff after project awardAttend occasional pre-bid meetings and site walksBuild & maintain relationships w/ GC estimatorsQualificationsExperience in construction estimating (landscape, site work, or hardscape)Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specificationsUnderstanding of construction materials, prod rates, and job costingProficiency with estimating software (LMN), spreadsheets, and digital takeoff tools (Bluebeam) - All preferred - not requiredHighly organized with strong attention to detailStrong communication and problem-solving skillsBenefits10 days PTO to startCompany phone & laptopOpportunities for professional growth and trainingA collaborative and supportive work environmentAccess to state-of-the-art tools and resources
