Job SummaryThe Chain Account Manager - Spirits is responsible for managing and growing sales across assigned regional retail chain accounts within the state of Texas. This role drives volume, revenue, and market share through effective account management, commercial negotiations, and disciplined execution of brand and promotional strategies across the spirits and wine portfolio, while ensuring compliance with Texas and U.S. alcohol regulations.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesManage and grow assigned retail chain accounts across Texas to achieve sales, volume, and profit targetsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key chain buyers, category managers, and distributor partnersLead negotiations on pricing, promotions, displays, and assortment in line with company strategyExecute chain programs and promotional calendars across spirits and wine brandsCollaborate closely with distributor sales teams to ensure strong in-store execution and distribution gainsAnalyze account performance, depletion data, and market trends to identify growth opportunitiesDrive new product launches, innovation placements, and range expansionsProvide accurate forecasting, demand planning inputs, and budget management for assigned accountsMonitor competitor activity and category dynamics within the Texas marketEnsure full compliance with Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) regulations and responsible marketing standardsKey Skills & CompetenciesStrong commercial, negotiation, and account management skillsDeep understanding of the Texas three-tier alcohol systemExcellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilitiesAnalytical and data-driven approach to decision-makingAbility to manage multiple accounts and priorities across a large geographic territoryQualifications & Experience10 years' experience in beverage alcohol sales, FMCG, or key account managementProven experience managing retail chain accounts in TexasExperience working with distributor partners is requiredStrong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM/sales toolsLocation & TravelTexas-based role (Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, or Austin preferred)Regular in-state travel to customer and distributor meetingsWhat We OfferCompetitive base salary plus performance-based incentive planCar allowance and travel reimbursementComprehensive benefits packageCareer growth opportunities within a leading spirits and wine organizationPhysical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
