Managed Services Engineer (Virtualization)

This is a hybrid position and will require commuting to downtown Saint Louis. Leading St. Louis based IT organization seeking talented Cybersecurity and Virtualization Engineer. DEPARTMENT: Operations REPORTS TO: Manager of Cloud Services LOCATION: St. Louis, MO QUALIFICATIONS · 3 years of experience administering a VMWare environment (vSphere, vSan, vCenter) · 1 years experience in VMware Horizon or other virtualized end user computer solution · 3 years experience in other virtual hypervisors. · Experience administering hosted Microsoft Exchange · 3 years experience in T2/T3 support role · Relevant industry or vendor certifications preferred · Experience and relative knowledge of networking infrastructure, and private/public cloud infrastructures · Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Detail-oriented with ability to draw relevant and effective conclusions from data analysis. Take corrective action and provide technical direction to resolve errors or inconsistencies. RESPONSIBILITIES · Design, architect, implement, document, and support detailed technical solutions within the Datotel environment as it relates to virtualization · Work with senior management on strategic planning and long-term planning. · Oversee and manage upgrades and maintenance of Datotel and client virtual environments · Provide tier 3 support to internal Datotel Engineering staff as well as Datotel clients for Datotel services · Take ownership of internal and external client cybersecurity questionnaires and renewals COMPENSATION & BENEFITS · Salary commensurate with experience · Medical, dental, and vision benefits including life insurance and disability. · 401K Plan with company matching · Flexible spending accounts for daycare, health care and adoption expenses · Ten paid holidays and 3 weeks paid vacation (based on full calendar year) · One month paid Sabbatical on 5th anniversary with additional sabbaticals every 5 years · Company supported continuing education and training · Casual dress code (jeans) and free parking Job Type: Full-time Pay: $68,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Schedule: Monday to Friday On call Application Question(s): Do you have any relevant industry or vendor certifications?
