Status: Non-Exempt Reports to: Valet Manager Job Summary The Valet Attendant at Caravan Court is responsible for providing a warm, polished, and professional first and last impression to every guest. Valet attendants safely and efficiently park and retrieve guest vehicles while delivering a personalized service aligned with the hotels service standards Essential Duties & Functions Operational Responsibilities Greet guests according hotel standards Register all vehicles in parking platform Communicate the valet process to the guest Assist guests with any luggage and directional needs Professionally and efficiently park guest vehicles Guest Services Anticipate and attend to guest needs during interactions Be proactive when attending to guests Assist guests with all concierge services Team Support and Training Attend and contribute to department meetings Participate in cross training Complete all required trainings Communication and Reporting Facilitate all internal communications and follow up accordingly Run all reports necessary to the operation Complete full shift pass on reports and checklists Log all work in appropriate platforms Safety & Compliance Adhere to all safety and security guidelines Follow all driving regulations Qualifications Essential Skills and Qualifications Strong verbal and written communication skills Effective time management and problem-solving skills Ability to work well with a team and demonstrate attention to detail Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal abilities Physical Requirements Sitting: Short periods of time Standing/Walking: Long periods of standing, minimum of 5 consecutive hours Lifting/Carrying: Occasionally, maximum of 50 pounds. Pushing/Pulling carts Working Environment Interior: Hallways, Guestrooms Exterior: Outdoor areas of the hotel Basics Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas Display courteous behavior with guests and team members Report any unsafe conditions immediately Ensure hotel equipment is in proper working condition Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor Candidate Profile Education and Experience Valid Driver's License No vehicle violations within the past 5 years No prior experience required No minimum education requirements required
