As a Meetings Concierge, you’ll be the key point of contact for our clients, ensuring that every detail of their event is seamless and stress-free.If you love connecting with people and delivering standout service, this is your chance to create WOW experiences guests will carry with them far beyond their stay with us!THE STARTING PAY RATE: $21.00 / Per Hour + CommissionThe Day-to-dayInspect meeting and convention spaces before and after events to ensure rooms are set according to Meeting Event Orders (MEOs) or Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and confirm no damage has occurredMonitor event timelines, including breaks and refresh schedules, to ensure all services are delivered on time and meet client expectationsCoordinate with Convention Services, Sales, and Catering Managers to review and execute all event details for upcoming groupsAssist in supervising banquet setup, A/V, IT, and other operational teams to ensure meeting requirements are properly executedAttend pre-convention and pre-operational meetings, including trade show meetings with General Service Contractors, to support event planning and execution, including walk-in and walk-out inspectionsThe Ideal CandidateMust be 21 years of age or olderHigh School Diploma or GEDTwo (2) years of prior relevant experience, preferably in Hospitality, Event Planning, Convention Services, Front Desk/ Reservations, and/or VIP & Guest ServicesPerception and awareness of individual needs and the ability to handle all situations calmly and professionallyExcellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with attention to detail and confidentiality of sensitive informationMust be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidaysThe Perks & BenefitsHealth & Income Protection benefits (for eligible employees)Professional and personal development opportunities through employee programs and network groupsFree meals in our Bellagio employee dining roomFree parking on and off-shift at all MGM Resorts propertiesWellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentallyAccess to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discountsView Job Descriptionhttps://mgmresorts.marketpayjobs.com/ShowJob.aspx?EntityID=2&jobcode=10700Are you ready to JOIN THE SHOW?
