Location: United States (Fully Remote - Preferred locations: Seattle, Austin, New York)Job SummaryThunder is thrilled to continue expanding our strategic partnership with AWS, and we're looking for a dynamic Client Director to join our team. In this high-impact role, you will be at the forefront of our collaboration with Amazon, leveraging our expertise in Amazon Connect, Service Cloud Voice, and Salesforce solutions to drive Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) innovation and deliver transformative value to our clients.As a seasoned technical seller, you'll combine your deep technical knowledge and consultative sales skills to forge strong relationships within Amazon and with customers, positioning Thunder as a trusted partner in optimizing customer engagement platforms. This is a unique opportunity for a self-starter to be at the forefront of building Thunder's Amazon Connect practice and AWS partnership.What We Are Looking ForBring a successful track record of solution selling within the Amazon partner ecosystem, and credibility with a deep POV of CCaaS within varying verticalsAre a lead‐gen engine and strive to surpass metricsAre passionate about building relationships, and collaboratively solving problems with customers and channel partners alikeUnderstand how to credibly scope consulting deals from a technical lens and work closely with project/engagement teams who are delivering the scope of work soldDemonstrate Thunder's core values by leading with transparency, empathy, ownership, and adaptability – with a good dose of grit!Day‐to‐Day ResponsibilitiesSell Thunder's best‐in‐class Amazon Connect multi‐cloud implementation and managed services offeringsHit and exceed expected Sales metrics, to include conducting at least four meaningful meetings a dayPartner with clients within varying verticals, serving as a trusted advisor, creating and executing tailored business plans for a consistent sales engagement processInteract strategically with the sales teams at Amazon and their partners to establish new business relationshipsDevelop account strategy according to Thunder Sales Playbook, in partnership with practice leadersTarget, nurture, and grow key/buyer influencer relationshipsExecute successful delivery hand‐off by onboarding consultants thoroughly at the start of new projectsEnsure quality and client satisfaction via high‐value touchpoints throughout projectsPartner consistently with Thunder Delivery leaders for successful sales outcomesUpdate key activities in Salesforce CRM daily and keep pipeline deals accurately updated per the Thunder Sales playbookRequired Qualifications5‐7+ years of experience closing net new business2‐3+ years' experience selling products and services into Contact Centers and/or selling services into the Amazon ecosystem, with a strong reputation with Amazon stakeholders and teamsIn‐depth knowledge of Amazon Connect platform capabilitiesExperience in driving Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) transformationsConsultative selling approach with the ability to position Amazon Connect value drivers to business and technical stakeholdersUnderstanding of Generative AI concepts used to optimize Agent and Customer experience via smart IVR, chatbots, assistants, etc.Best‐in‐class communication and strategic presentation skills (ex., deck creation, thought leadership)Winning record of overachievement on sales goals and accountability to metricsAppetite for learning new skills and developing new knowledge setsBachelor's Degree preferredProficient with technology + productivity toolsCurrent Thunder Sales tech stack: Salesforce CRM, Gong, Asana, Certinia (PSA)Preferred QualificationsAmazon Connect Certification(s)Sales Methodology training/certificationResearch shows that women and people from underrepresented groups often apply to jobs only if they meet 100% of the qualifications.
