Wire EDM Programmer/Operator

Established in 1966, Actco Tool & Mfg. Co. is a third generation, family-owned precision manufacturing shop specializing in high-tolerance, custom-machined components. We’re currently looking for an experienced Wire EDM Operator/Programmer to join our team and play a key role in both the programming and operation of our EDM machines. Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wire EDM Operator/Programmer to join our outgoing, collaborative team. Experience in the manufacturing sector and a strong understanding of Wire EDM machines and services are strongly desired, but in-house training is available. This role involves programming, setting up, and operating Wire EDM machines (Agiecut), as well as reading and interpreting blueprints, CAD files, and technical drawings. Our machines use Windows-based systems and OS2, so experience in these two systems are preferred. Knowledge of CNC EDM is strongly desired.
