This is a key leadership role responsible for technician development, route performance, customer satisfaction, branch compliance, and overall service quality.If you are a strong coach, a natural problem solver, and a pest management professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.If You Are...A motivated leader who enjoys developing and mentoring field employeesPassionate about delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellenceSkilled at troubleshooting pest issues, technician challenges, and customer concernsOrganized, proactive, and able to balance multiple priorities throughout the dayComfortable holding employees accountable while also providing guidance and supportLooking for an opportunity to grow your leadership career with a stable and growing organizationWhat You'll Do...Lead, coach, and support a team of Pest Control Technicians in both residential and commercial serviceProvide daily field support, including troubleshooting pest issues, product usage questions, route concerns, and problem accountsConduct regular one-on-one check-ins with technicians to review performance, productivity, and customer servicePerform monthly ride-a-longs with each technician to provide coaching, quality control, and hands-on developmentReview and adjust technician routes to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfactionIdentify training opportunities and deliver ad hoc field training on pest identification, treatment methods, and service best practicesTeach technicians how to identify and capture sales opportunities, including recurring service plans and add-on servicesLead branch huddle meetings to communicate updates, expectations, and branch initiativesPerform quality assurance checks and review technician log reports for accuracy and complianceTroubleshoot difficult customer situations and complex pest management concernsOversee large commercial set-up and intensive service work as neededReview technician activity, routing efficiency, time-off requests, and weekly timesheetsInspect vehicles, equipment, and service tools to ensure proper maintenance and safety complianceInterview and evaluate applicants for Pest Control Technician openingsRecommend top performers for licensing advancement, promotions, and stretch assignmentsEnsure branch adherence to company policies, state regulations, and pest control safety standardsWhat We Need From You...Pest control licenses 7A, 7B & 132+ years of pest control experience required OR4-year degree with 3+ years of management experience and at least 1 year of pest control experienceStrong working knowledge of pest control treatments, services, regulations, and safety proceduresKnowledge of common household and commercial pests, including insects and rodentsExperience coaching, developing, and managing field employeesProficiency with PestPac, handheld devices, and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitiesAbility to work outdoors in a variety of environmental and seasonal conditionsFlexibility to work between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM, with extended hours during peak season (April-September)Appropriate state licensing for all branch-based servicesWhat We Offer...Competitive compensationComprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits401(k) with company matchPaid time off and paid holidaysCompany vehicle and tools providedOngoing leadership development and professional growth opportunitiesCareer advancement within a growing organizationSupportive team environment with a people-first cultureThe opportunity to make a direct impact on branch performance and technician successWhy Viking Pest Control?At Viking, our leaders are not just managers - they are mentors, coaches, and problem-solvers who help our teams succeed every day.
