Art Curriculum Developer
Job Description:Lead development of a progressive, Skill based, year-round curriculum system for Art 2 (ages 6–8) and Art 3 (ages 9–12)Build developmental progression models balancing technical skill, creativity, confidence, and social engagementEstablish learning objectives, milestones, and measurable outcomes for each term and age groupDevelop a long-term roadmap for future curriculum expansion and advanced pathwaysCreate and oversee weekly lesson plans, project roadmaps, classroom activities, teacher guides, and skill-building exercisesEnsure projects are age-appropriate, visually exciting, operationally repeatable, and achievable within class timeDesign for varying student skill levels and integrate cultural, historical, and contemporary art references throughoutBuild comprehensive teacher-facing resources: prep checklists, classroom and materials management systems, visual references, demonstration guides, and instructional scriptingDevelop instructor onboarding and training systemsPartner with operations and training teams to improve classroom execution and instructional qualityLead curriculum beta testing beginning with Art 1 in June 2026Gather and evaluate student engagement data, parent feedback, instructor feedback, and operational insightsContinuously refine based on studio performance and learning outcomesEnsure full go-to-market readiness by Back-to-School season (July/August 2026)Collaborate with the in-house curriculum team, franchise support, studio operations, marketing, creative/design teams, and leadership.Requirements:10+ years in curriculum development, art education, or creative youth programming in elementary or middle school environmentsProven experience designing structured educational programs for children ages 6–12Strong understanding of learning progression, classroom management, creative skill development, and student engagementExceptional written and visual communication skillsAbility to build systems and documentation with strong attention to detailComfortable in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.Benefits:401(k) matchingCompetitive salaryEmployee discountsPaid time offTraining & development
