This includes students with learning disabilities, attention-related needs, and mild to moderate social-emotional or behavioral challenges. The teacher develops, implements, and monitors Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring goals are aligned to grade-level standards while addressing each student’s unique needs. Instruction focuses on building foundational academic skills, executive functioning, and self-advocacy to support student success in inclusive settings. Key responsibilities include collaboration with general education teachers, related service providers, and families; delivering small group and individualized instruction; progress monitoring and data collection; and ensuring compliance with state and federal special education requirements. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong instructional practices, effective collaboration skills, and the ability to differentiate curriculum.
