Title - Stipend - CPS Summer Program Social Workers (District Wide) (Internal Only) (Summer 2026)Positions: This position has 3 openings. Positions can be split.* Elementary Schools - Complex and ELC (Housed at the Complex) - 2 positions* Secondary Schools - CHS and the Clark (Housed at CHS)General Duties:The Summer District Social Worker responsibilities include but are not limited to:Any and all social work services based on caseloads and student/family needResponding to student/family safety concerns which may include (but are not limited to) suicidality, homicidality, domestic violence, abuse, neglect per district protocolsResponsive to needs of families including check-ins, identification of supports, and connection to resources (including distribution of funds/resources that may become available)Communication/collaboration with applicable staff and community providers Participation in regularly scheduled meetings with summer programming leadership and remote summer district social work teamQualifications: The ideal candidate will be a current teacher in the grades listed above who is passionate about leading this work.Compensation: $3080 StipendDates/Time: Summer school work and planning includes, but not limited to the summer school schedule which is: Summer School will run from June 29 - July 23. Educator hours are 8AM-12PMWeek 1 - Monday June 29 - Thursday July 2Week 2 - Monday July 6 - Thursday July 9Week 3 - Monday July 13 - Thursday July 16Week 4 - Monday July 20 - Thursday July 23Please Note - Additional PD will be available with additional compensation.
