About Our CompanyImpact Performance Team is seeking a results-oriented Talent Scout & Partnership Director to support the expansion of our recruiting and consulting services. This role is designed for a disciplined professional with strong experience in recruiting, headhunting, and business development who excels at proactive outreach, vision-selling, and relationship development.We have built a strong foundation with an established client base, a proven model, and real momentum behind us. We are now bringing on our first wave of team members, and the people who join now will play a direct role in shaping what this company becomes. As IPT grows, we are committed to developing stock and long-term incentive packages for our founding team members.Role OverviewThis is a high-activity, dual-mandate role. Every day, you are doing two things: hunting for top candidates to fill open positions for our clients, and reaching out to businesses about partnering with IPT for our recruiting and consulting services. If you are not sourcing candidates, you are developing new partnerships, and ideally, you are doing both.This is a 1099 independent contractor role with remote flexibility. Your key responsibilities may include:Proactively source, headhunt, and recruit candidates for open positions across our client portfolioBuild and manage an active candidate pipeline using our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), referrals, and direct outreachConduct initial candidate outreach, qualification, and screeningIdentify and pursue businesses that could benefit from IPT's consulting and recruiting servicesLeverage our existing talent pool to open doors with prospective clientsExecute outbound business development through cold outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, warm introductions, and referral networksBuild and maintain strong relationships with both candidates and business partnersCollaborate with leadership on targeting strategy, messaging, and pipeline developmentRepresent Impact Performance Team professionally in all client and candidate-facing interactionsRequirementsProven experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or headhuntingComfortable with high-volume outbound activity Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to operate independently and manage a full pipeline without heavy oversightProfessional presence with strong relationship-building capabilityBusiness development or sales experience is a strong plusIndustry experience in insurance, financial services, or professional services is preferred but not requiredMust be located or able to commute to Charleston, SC when neededBenefitsSalary: $50,000 base + Uncapped Commission Total Expected Compensation in Year 1: $90k-$120kWorking hand in hand with IPT's leadershipBe a founding team member of a fast-growing consulting and recruiting firmHigh-autonomy role where your work has a direct influence on the businessA culture built around excellence, growth, and making a positive impact on others
