Join our fast-moving, dynamic team and help shape Esri’s mobile and web applications like Field Maps and Navigator.Esri has a Relocation Assistance Program and can provide support with relocating to the Portland, ME area for this position.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Product Engineers to establish test plans and identify gaps in manual and automated testingWork closely with Software Development Engineers to improve software quality by writing and executing automated testsCreate and maintain automated tests for functional, performance, scalability, and durability testingDesign and develop integration and regression test cases for software componentsAnalyze test failures, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary repairs to test codeMeasure test coverage and analyze continuous integration test resultsContribute to the development and maintenance of automated test frameworksAdvocate for quality throughout the software development processEvaluate and recommend test tools and technologies to improve testing efficiencyRequirements5+ years of experience with object-oriented programming conceptsProficiency programming in one or more of the following languages: Swift or KotlinApplied knowledge of testing principles, including experience designing and executing test casesProficiency using test automation frameworks such as XCTest, XCUITest, UiAutomator, Compose Testing, or AppiumProficiency with Android Studio or XcodeFamiliarity with mocking frameworksFamiliarity with CI/CD patterns and tooling (such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions) and source control management (such as GitHub)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate and resolve software issuesEffective organizational, teamwork, and interpersonal skillsBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, geography, GIS, mathematics, or a related fieldRecommended QualificationsAbility to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesA self-motivated team player with an interest in continuous learning and building software productsProven ability to deliver work within time constraints, in teams and individuallyTotal RewardsEsri’s competitive total rewards strategy includes industry-leading health and welfare benefits: medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance for employees (and their families), 401(k) and profit-sharing programs, minimum accrual of 80 hours of vacation leave, twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
