Digital Network Exploitation Analyst

Job Description PLEX Solutions, LLC is seeking Digital Network Exploitation Analysts to work in the Annapolis Junction area. These roles require an active security clearance to start. The Digital Network Exploitation Analyst (DNEA) will perform technical analysis of metadata and content to ensure target continuity, to evaluate intelligence value of targets, and develop techniques to establish continued collection or gain additional target information. The Digital Network Exploitation Analyst will: Have the ability to perform technical analysis of metadata and content for systems and networks of interest across several communications technologies and protocols Characterize target network capabilities and vulnerabilities using advanced application analysis Support development of new techniques to exploit targets Use current IC tools and databases to research relevant intelligence sources Have a desire for continual learning and strong problem-solving, analytic and interpersonal skills that are: o flexible - able to communicate effectively o able to collaborate with others Have specialized skills and experience in one or more of the following is desired: o Knowledge of network protocols (especially TCP/IP, VOIP, wireless protocols) o Understanding of Internet o Understanding of WAN and LAN o Vulnerability analysis o Programming experience (prefer one or more of the following: C, C++, Java, Assembly, Python) , Required Skills Digital network analysis, characterization, or exploitation analysis Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of communication networks and security issues such as vulnerabilities and common hacker TTPs Computer networking and telecommunication architecture, the OSI model, communication protocols, TCP/IP, IPv6, routing concepts, network mapping, sub-netting and target templating Public Switching Telephone Network Infrastructure Mobile technologies and geospatial analysis Knowledgeable in advanced analytic techniques Basic understanding of cloud architecture and data flow Familiarity with vulnerabilities and malware A minimum of 3 years of experience performing DNEA duties An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required SALARY RANGE: $95k - $205k Salary offered will depend on numerous qualifying factors such as clearance, degree and the years and depth of applicable experience. The actual salary is determined by specific program, labor category, education/certifications, professional experience and security clearance levels.
