Maintenance Technician-2nd shift

Position: Maintenance TechnicianDivision: RecyclingStatus: Full Time/Hourly PositionPOSITION SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technician will provide assistance in all aspects of maintenance such as welding, electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics.REPORTS TO: Maintenance SupervisorSUPERVISES: N/AEssential Responsibilities:Maintenance/Repair tasks at the plant.Preventative maintenance/repair tasks on mobile equipment.Preventive maintenance/repair tasks on furnaces, power supplies and plant operational equipment and processes.Repairs of unscheduled equipment issues causing downtimeCompleting work orders & PM paperworkRegular and timely attendance are an expectation of the positionFollow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processesRequirementsEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:Forklift experience is preferred but not required.Industrial maintenance or millwright or welding experience within other manufacturing facilitiesCOMPETENCIES:Follow all safety rules, regulations and policies of the company.Self-starter, dependable and work well with other team members.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:Physical Activity: Talking, hearing, repetitive motion, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, and climbing stairs.Physical Requirements: Exerting up to fifty (50) pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to twenty-five (25) pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Visual Acuity: ability to operate machinery and determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned including to make general observations of facilities.CORE VALUES:Service - Striving to provide the best experience for our customers and suppliers by making intentional actions and decisions to benefit others.Organization - Possessing a fanatical commitment to operating clean, consistent, and efficient facilities.Growth - Dedication towards continual improvement within our journey to become a better company.Pride - To be proud of, and believe in, our company and the products and services we provide.
