Agribusiness Banker

Position Summary First Bank of Berne, an employee-owned community bank, is dedicated to supporting local farmers and agricultural businesses. Agribusiness Bankers assess financial needs and provide expert advice and recommendations on appropriate products and services. They actively engage in the agricultural community to identify business opportunities. Skills and Abilities Excellent communication and relationship management skills. Able to analyze credit requests, financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, and cash flows, and to counsel borrowers on their financial condition. A self-motivated, problem solver who possesses good judgment and can manage multiple tasks. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agri-business, or a related field with two to five years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. General knowledge of agriculture/commercial industry is required.
