Position Summary This role is responsible for managing end-to-end order operations across a multi-state region while serving as a central point of coordination between sales, logistics, supply chain, procurement, finance, vendors, and customers. The position has evolved beyond transactional order entry into a critical operations role that ensures revenue flow, operational efficiency, and financial accuracy. The individual in this role exercises independent judgment to resolve complex operational and financial issues and directly contributes to business performance.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations ManagementOversee end-to-end order lifecycle from order entry through fulfillment and completionManage and resolve escalations related to order processing, delivery issues, and RMAsEnsure timely and accurate order execution to support revenue realizationSupply Chain CoordinationMaintain inventory accuracy across systems and distribution centersExecute Goods Receipts (GRs) and ensure alignment between physical and system inventoryCoordinate with logistics and distribution teams to resolve supply and delivery challengesProcurement & Vendor ManagementCreate and manage purchase orders in alignment with operational needsReview and approve vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliancePartner with vendors to resolve discrepancies and maintain performance standardsFinancial Accuracy & ComplianceSupport invoice reconciliation and ensure accurate financial postingIdentify and resolve billing discrepancies to minimize financial riskPartner with finance to ensure alignment between operations and financial recordsCross-Functional LeadershipServe as a primary escalation point across sales, logistics, finance, and customer teamsCoordinate activities across departments to ensure seamless operationsDrive communication and issue resolution in a fast-paced, multi-functional environmentQualificationsStrong understanding of order-to-cash processes, inventory management, and procurement workflowsExperience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)Proven ability to manage cross-functional processes and resolve complex issues Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to make independent decisions in a dynamic environmentExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsHigh attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and accountabilityAbility to manage multiple priorities with minimal oversightTalentMatch®Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
