Associate Attorney - Divorce and Family Law

Open to hybrid/PT remote roleThe Firm is experiencing significant growth and is seeking to add a skilled attorney with expertise in New York divorce and family law to our team. We take pride in providing white-glove service to our clients. Even with a high caseload, we aim to ensure that each client feels as though their case is our top priority during their time with the Firm.Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience exclusively in divorce and family law.Admitted to the New York State Bar and in good standing (Connecticut State Bar admission is a plus).Extensive knowledge of New York family law, including statutes, regulations, and legal principles.Strong legal writing abilities.Capable of managing more than 20 complex cases simultaneously.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.Compassionate and empathetic in client interactions.Responsibilities:Provide legal advice and representation to clients in a wide range of matrimonial and family law matters, including uncontested and contested divorces, child custody petitions, surrogacy contracts, pre-birth orders, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and child support modifications.Draft and prepare various legal documents.Conduct thorough legal research.Stay up-to-date on legal developments through CLE, research, and Firm-sponsored workshops.Strictly adhere to attorney-client confidentiality protocols.Maintain professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with clients, opposing counsel, the courts, and colleagues.If you are looking for a tremendous growth opportunity, while also challenging yourself to produce your best possible work product, then our Firm may be a good fit for you.
