Job Description IT Support & Logistics EngineerAbtech TechnologiesPosition OverviewAbtech Technologies is seeking a highly organized and technically capable IT Support & Logistics Engineer to support both service desk operations and internal logistics workflows. This hybrid role combines technical support with ownership of IT logistics operations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can take tasks from start through completion with minimal oversight, while keeping operational workflows running efficiently. This is an on-site position in Vista, CA with occasional travel and limited customer interaction.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Support:Perform triage and troubleshoot common IT issuesResolve basic support requests (hardware, peripherals, user setup)Escalate tickets with proper documentation and diagnosticsAssist with device provisioning, staging, and deploymentMaintain accurate ticketing notes and updatesIT Logistics & Operations:Manage inventory lifecycle (receiving, labeling, tracking, auditing)Maintain parts and asset tracking systemsCoordinate parts allocation for engineers and field workHandle shipping and receiving operationsMaintain warehouse organization and readinessAssist with procurement coordination and stock trackingRequired Experience and SkillsMinimum 1 years of relevant logistics, warehouse, inventory experience.Minimum 2 years of IT Support, computer repair experience.Strong communication, organization, accuracy, attention to detail, punctuality, and follow-through.Comfortable handling small parts, computer components, anti-static bags, boxes, bins, and storage systems.Ability to lift a minimum of 65 lbs.Basic computer hardware knowledge, part identification skills, and troubleshooting ability.Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.Ability to work well with technical and non-technical team members.Proven Ability to follow through and complete tasks without oversight.Ability to travel in-state when needed.Preferred QualificationsExperience in a computer service, IT support, repair, or system-building environment.Familiarity with parts tracking, inventory systems, locator systems, or field technician support.Interest in expanding technical knowledge and supporting a fast-paced IT services team.Experience with Basic Reporting and Auditing Candidate ProfileThis role is best suited for someone who is organized, dependable, practical, detail-oriented, hands-on, comfortable around computer hardware, and willing to help wherever needed.Company DescriptionAbtech Technologies, Inc. is a 35+ year old computer services company in Southern California with other offices around the country.
