DescriptionSAIC is seeking a Software Engineer Associate to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.JOB DESCRIPTION:Candidate will serve in the Weapons Platform Integration Branch focusing on the MK49 Remoted Operated Small Arms Mount ISEA project.JOB DUTIES:Supporting all software aspects of the MK 49 MOD 0 ROSAM system and support equipmentSupport ongoing engineering, troubleshooting, continuous improvements, and system refurbishmentsSupport live-fire test and evaluation events along with collaborating with other branches and divisions within and outside of the Weapon Systems Division (JXN)Candidate should have a strong background in embedded systems and programming in Python and C++ languagesQualificationsREQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:Bachelor's degree and zero years of experienceExperience with Python and C++ languagesCommunicate wellWork within a team to find solutionsDocument processes and provide expertise for customer feedbackMeeting specified deadlines - position is very time sensitive with deliverable scheduleInterim secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance processUS CitizenshipDESIRED EXPERIENCE:Experience with Embedded Systems (ARM is highly desired)Prefer degrees in computer science, computer engineering or electrical engineering
