Maintenance Technician

One of our manufacturing clients is seeking skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician at Des Plaines, IL location.Pay Rate : $37/hr - $41/hrResponsibilitiesPerform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Diagnose equipment issues and implement timely solutions to reduce downtime Conduct inspections and identify potential maintenance concerns Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints Support installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Experience with troubleshooting PLC systems is a plus Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment
