Employed Orthopedic Surgeon position located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains. This position is offering a $630,000 base salary. Position: 3 Orthopedic Surgeons in town, one is retiring after 30 years in the community Pre COVID hospital averaged 8,000 cases a year, dipped during covid, on pace to exceed 6,800 this year Hospital is capturing of the Ortho cases in their market, prime time for a new doctor to come in and become successful quickly Group does general, shoulder, hip, knee, sport, total joint and basic lower-level trauma 1:3 call, though hospitalist and general surgeons do the admissions with the ortho following up in am, after hours Have the ability to grow any service line, if ok with doing general as well Robot can be used at neighboring hospital if desired 3 5-day work week with clinic and 1 OR day scheduled, though can do more 92 acute bed hospital, 14 acute rehab beds for a total of 106 beds, 55% average occupancy level IV trauma designation, fully staffed surgeons, and hospitalist for after hour call Compensation: Employed position, base salary of $620,000 $660,000 with bonus based on wRVUs Current orthopedic surgeons are averaging over 7,500 wRVUs a year $30,000 sign on bonus, $10,000 relocation, $5,000 CME, 6 weeks PTO 403B with 6% of salary matching, comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision Loan repayment through NHSC and through state, ability to get all loans paid for over time Can support Waiver/Visa Sponsorship Location: Located in the heart of the Pocono Mountains, 2-hour drive to Philadelphia and New York Up and coming trendy community with recent transformations making this a sought-after town Local restaurants, breweries, fresh produce markets, live music, festivals, wineries, and more Affordable housing, ability to buy land, beautiful scenery everywhere State ranked public and private schooling options for the kids Outdoors lakes, rivers, mountain climbing, hiking, kayaking, skiing, fishing, hunting and more If this is of interest, please give me a call or email be best times to reach you.
